The Soulfight.net website formally started in 2004 in San Diego California.
However the name came out of a jiu jitsu and surf trip to Brazil in 2001.
Founder Tony Pacenski spent the summer training in at Rodrigo Mederios' academy in Pacific Beach, CA.
Tony was burned out after training for close to ten years.
It was with Rodrigo that rekindled Tony's passion for Jiu Jitsu and at the end of the summer after much jiu jitsu soul searching, SOULFIGHT.NET was born.
Now in 2016, this new app returns to the original ideas of training and having mentorship with one of the most respected Jiu Jitsu Instructors and Practitioners of his generation: "little" Tony Pacenski.
